Yesterday, my new crate arrived, but it wasn't for my own dogs. You see, one of our students was sick of having a big eyesore - otherwise known as a dog cage - in her dining room.
Knowing this, I had researched table-style dog crates
What a simple, beautiful, and practical, addition to any home! Most dog owners long to get rid of their dog's crate too quickly because it takes up valuable space, and it often looks terrible. The table/crate, on the other hand, is so low profile that even after your dog is trained you'll probably want to remove the door, add a cushy bed, and let your dog retreat to it at will.
I ordered from pets2bed.com on Thursday, it shipped on Saturday, and arrived on Monday. But don't rely on such a speedy turnaround; pets2bed.com indicated it might take about a week. Also, I called prior to ordering. A pleasant representative got right back to me and seemed very knowledgeable about the product.
The table/crate comes in three sizes and ranges in cost from $120 and $200 (plus shipping) which includes the crate, tray, frame, and table top. It requires no tools for assembly. It is drop shipped from Merry Products, a company with three warehouse in different parts of the country.
Consumers may be disappointed that Merry Products' table/crate is only available in a mahogany color and the cage is black. It would be nice if customers could choose between various wood tones and crate colors, as well as upgrade to a higher quality cage such as a Central Metal brand crate.
However, if your feng shui is in jeopardy, replace dog cages with table/crates, and bask in newfound household karma!
