Welcome to Amiable Dog Training

In 1975, Amy Ammen started training her first dog, a husky named Tess. Soon she began competing in obedience trials which lead to instructing beginners to advanced students, giving weekend training workshops nationwide and writing books. In 1982, Amy opened Amiable Dog Training and set the standard for customized private lessons. Since then, added group classes have proven to be equally popular avenues for training.
